The ascent of this short climb is difficult, but it leads to twin waterfalls with spacious wooden platforms from which you may view them.
This waterfall, which is 60 feet tall and has a crystal-clear pool of water below it, is situated in the stunning Cloudland Canyon State Park. Even a 90-foot-tall “sister” waterfall may be seen in the same location.
On this walk, you’ll see Yonah Mountain, the Raven Cliffs Wilderness, and a number of waterfalls. Of course, the impressive falls steal the show!
A moderately challenging, 0.3-mile climb leads to an observation bridge where you can see the concealed 120-foot waterfall and watch it cascade.
This journey will bring you to a stunning, rocky waterfall with a pool at the base that is ideal for a brief soak.
Be sure to include this one on your list of waterfalls to visit while on your waterfall trip in Rabun County. Even though it’s a smaller waterfall and will require a bit more searching, it’s totally worthwhile.
