Alberta’s new billionaire is excited to help those around him after winning the Maxmillions award.
Jonathon Lloyd was stunned to discover he was $1 million richer after the October 14th Lotto Max draw.
Lloyd purchased tickets from Petro Canada Strathcona in Calgary on October 13th. He matched his one exact winning number (5, 8, 17, 36, 39, 40, and 43) in his Maxmillions lottery.
A few days after the draw, he discovered his win when he used a lottery ticket to scan his ticket.

Lloyd’s ticket is one of 19 tickets in Western Canada to win $1 million in Maxmillions prize money from August through the end of October. Lotto Max ran record-breaking jackpots during this period.
Three tickets sold in the region won $500,000 in prize money split with other tickets.
Lloyd explained that he already has some ideas about what he plans to do with his newly won prize money.
