Indigo Books and Music has announced that Frank Clegg, Howard Grossfield, Anne-Marie O’Donovan and Chika Stacey Oliuwa are no longer members of the company’s 11-member board of directors. .
In a statement, the company said Oliuwa had resigned “because of the loss of trust and abuse of the board’s leadership.”
No reason was given for the other exits. “Indigo wishes the retiring directors rest in peace and appreciates the contributions of each of the directors during their tenure,” the company said.
Company founder Heather Riesman, who took over as CEO last fall, will step down as executive chairman and board member in August.
The company was hit by a cybersecurity incident this spring that made it difficult for it to sell its products online for several days. Full functionality was not restored for several weeks.
